THE UNIT
The Wellington GI Unit is a fully integrated unit able to treat the whole range of gastro intestinal and biliary conditions. Our team of senior consultants, many of them at the peak of their profession, include distinguished surgeons, physicians, radiologists, pathologists and oncologists supported by an experienced team of specialist nurses.
We use a team approach, bringing together for the benefit of patients, the combined experience of consultants specialising in upper and lower gastro intestinal conditions together with specialists in endoscopy who have at their disposal, the very latest technology. Representatives of complementary areas of expertise meet to discuss individual patient's conditions to define the best possible treatment options – again speeding the process.
And in support of the Unit are the many resources of the UK's largest independent hospital including the most powerful diagnostic and imaging equipment and a full range of surgical and medical services.
